DATES Australia

AEST

Moon Position and Phase Suggestions

2nd – 3rd March Waxing Fertile 1st Quarter Perfect for all planting, especially leafy annuals.

6th – 7th March Waxing Fertile 2nd Quarter Perfect for all planting, especially fruity annuals.

11th March Full Moon in Virgo at 1.37pm AEDT Definitely do nothing in the garden on a Full Moon. Sit down and make a list of the tools you would love, plan the winter vegetable garden or sharpen the tools you have

12th – 16th March Waning Fertile Moon

3rd Quarter

Plant root crops, attend to maintenance, and prune for growth.

19th – 21st March

24th – 26th March

Waning Fertile Moon

4th Quarter

It may be fertile time, but as it’s a last quarter Moon, only do Maintenance for growth
27th March New Moon in Aries at 3.05am Stop, and do nothing. I know you are impatient so take a break from the garden and take on a challenge or to do something competitive.

29th – 30th March Waxing Fertile 1st Quarter Perfect for all planting, especially leafy annuals.

Any dates not mentioned are “barren” times and good for weeding and pest control
