Palmistry FAQ’s – To feel or not to feel?

Q. Does my broken heart line mean I will have a broken heart?

A. To put it simply – yes. A broken heart line does mean that your heart will experience heightened feelings and emotions. The more breaks, the more they are experienced. You will feel every pang of anguish experienced by yourself, family, friends and even the world. A very broken heart tells me that every sad news story will cut you to the core. For you are love itself.

To a person with a straight heart line the term ‘road kill” simply means a dead animal at the side of the road.  To you with a broken heart line it means a whole herd of questions like; whose pet was it, do they know, what shall I do? And if it’s a native animal – you will want to check if it has young in its pouch? And it will break you heart!

The point I want to make is -do not mourn your broken heart line – celebrate it – because the world needs more people like you!

And to say it better than I could-

“To experience true love there has to be a willingness to have your heart broken by it a thousand times, for it is the letting go into its force that the heartbreak itself is experienced as love. …Its embrace is never ending, infinite and complete. And in this love you rest as total completion, utter peace, soaring freedom. You are love itself’.”  The Journey – Brandon Bays

1st January Full Moon in Cancer at 6.12am

Rest and do nothing in the garden. It’s a perfect time to connect with family and loved ones. Any planting will tend to result in distorted growth.

Waning Fertile Moon 3rd Quarter

The Moon will not pass through any fertile signs this quarter. So unfortunately there is no days good for planting – but I bet there is plenty of maintenance to do!

15th January New Moon in Capricorn at 6.11pm with Annular Solar Eclipse – not visible here

Rest and do nothing in the garden. Any planting will tend to bolt to seed. It’s a perfect time to begin any undertaking that involves responsibility and ambition.

 19th – 20th January Waxing Fertile 1st Quarter

Perfect for all planting, especially leafy annuals.

24th – 25th and the 28th January Waxing Fertile 2nd Quarter

Perfect for all planting, especially fruity annuals.

30th January Full Moon in Leo at 5.17pm

Do nothing in the garden. It’s a perfect time to invite people around and show off your garden.

Now you know when to plant – you need to know when to prune to enhance growth, prune to reduce growth, fertilize, and harvest crops.

30th Jan Full Moon at 5.17 pm in Leo.

What’s that I see in the sky?

For all you night owls

As each day goes by you will see Jupiter, the brightest star, sink into the west and he will soon be too low to see. I never get tired of seeing the Pleiades in the shoulder of Taurus the bull.

Orion is close by, but here in the southern hemisphere we see his belt and sword as the “saucepan”. In the beginning he used to be known as the shepherd with his crook.

And where have you been hearing a story of three bright stars (kings), cattle lowering and shepherds ‘guarding their flock by night lately’? Perhaps the ancients did look to the sky to tell the story of a very important birth!

Its probably a good time to tell you of something I heard recently –

“Pray as if everything depended on god.

Work as if everything depended on you”

For all you early birds

There is plenty of masculine energy in the morning skies this month with Saturn the old king, and Mars the god of war both visible. Mars will be sinking lower in the west through the month.

Mars is near Regulus which is the star in the heart of Leo the lion. The waning full moon will pass slightly above them on the 4th Jan.

Look to the morning skies to see the Scorpion arise, head first. His tail is imbedded in the Milky Way, known in ancient times as the spurting breast milk of the great goddess.

January 2010 Sun Sign Forecast January 1, 2010

Aries

22 March – 20 April

Property plans reach completion and could result in tensions. Your urge is to protect your “nest”, but his will change because your zone of “hopes and wishes” is activated and new ideals will change what you desire. The New Moon is in your work zone and brings a potential new job or role. Enjoy social occasions with friends, although one friendship will be a challenge. Other friendships will develop through new associations or networks, so join a new group and enjoy the stimulation it brings.

Taurus

21 April – 21 May

Are you waiting for information and are your nerves stretch thin?  A short break will help, but why bother trying to ignore it – you are being called to move elsewhere, or at the very minimum, study or take up some self-improvement. Later in the month there are fantastic opportunities regarding work, so bite the bullet, get out of your own way and do it! Once you have made a choice, its time for a big clean-up, reorganization, or renovation in your home.

Gemini

22 May – 21 June

Finances are in focus and you are able to access money from other people, especially later in the month. So if desired, you will be lent money, or money that is owed to you will be returned, whilst shared assets may need to be renegotiated.  Information that you need comes to light, but more will follow. Jupiter and Venus move into your escape zone so this is an ideal time to make travel plans.

Cancer

22 June – 23 July

The Full Moon in your sign means you understand how you currently need to find security and understanding from others. As a result, your expectations are high and deep emotions may surface.  I wish I could say it was justified – but there is a strong possibility that the significant people in your life want to make their life more interesting and fun, and that means relationships are undergoing changes. I would celebrate and encourage their enterprise.  It does not need to un-nerve you.

Leo

24 July – 23 August

Its time to let your feelings go inward and let inspiration guide you. There will be answers to your questions that simply arise through allowing yourself quiet time and the chance to reflect. If words or ideas come to you – follow where they lead.  There will be a new energy causing changes in your work place. Later in the month your social life and interactions with others will be heightened. If you want love – its there to be had!

Virgo

24 August – 23 September

This month there is an opportunity to realise an important goal, and a group or network of people could be instrumental in helping you, or bringing it to your awareness. Mid month there is a party atmosphere around you. I would enjoy it as much as possible as later in the month you are needed to be responsible and duty bound. Then again, you are a Virgo – so its second nature to you, but take care of your health – you know what you should be doing.

Libra

24 September – 23 October

A serious mood prevails and you are getting the hint that you have to behave yourself. There can be high emotions at work – probably because you don’t want to be there! The New Moon in the home zone suggests you are deciding what to do. You can move or renovate, but what are the expectations that your parents have, or had, passed to you? Are they still relevant? Your own children, or younger people, bring in a fresh new spirit and fun times.

Scorpio

24 October – 22 November

So much movement this month that I think you will be going around and around in circles. It means lots of short trips and so much confusion. It will help to decide on a designation and an overall goal or you will wear yourself out with nervous energy. There is information, gossip, and news coming at you from all directions. Don’t try and stop it – it’s supposed to happen. But your home can be a wonderful sanctuary for some quiet stolen moments.

Sagittarius

23 November – 22 December

It may come to you completely unbidden, but the emotions you are feeling may actually be repressed grief from the past, not anxieties from now. The stars have given you this time to make peace with yourself and value the learnings. This means you will learn more about your own value and heighten your sense of self-esteem.  A side benefit could be actual real money and finding a better way to grow it through careful management.

Capricorn

23 December – 20 January

This month is all about you – except that there a lot of people in your work, business and personal life who think it’s all about them! Stay focused on yourself and what you need to do. It’s a time for new beginnings, a time to start a new project or idea, or simply do something for yourself. After what you have been through over the last few months you absolutely deserve this opportunity – so don’t waste it.

Aquarius

21 January – 19 February

So much responsibility, so many duties, so much restraint! I know that death by chocolate, or whatever your favorite addiction is, seems worthwhile. But hang in there – serve your time and do it well – because in the middle of the month Venus and Jupiter come in your sign to bring a happier, freer, lighter and fun mood to your life. Then you could indulge in your favorite addictions for quite a different reason; or you could attract whatever brilliance you wish.

Pisces

20 February – 21 March

Let your inner light shine, take to the stage, and be seen and heard. You are so creative now it’s amazing – not just artistic creative – but great problem solving creative ideas. The younger people in your life are showing you how to let go of the ego, and let go of what people expect you to be.  Look to join a new group or network, but don’t forget that you will also need a sacred place of retreat to rest and soothe your spirit.
