Aries 21 March – 19 April

With the New Moon in Aries, this is your month to start a new project, especially one that entails improving your financial situation and your personal sense of worth. There will be opportunities with money, but the planets in your money zone suggest that you need to slow down, reflect and plan very carefully so you maximize the benefits. Any health issues or vulnerability will pass if you take care of your physical body.

Taurus 20 April – 20 May

Venus enters your sign and brings out your sparkle. She can help you achieve what you desire. So stop secretly wishing it would happen – start writing out your goals and saying them out loud.  With Mercury going backwards you are seen and not heard – so people will notice you, although they won’t appear to be listening to you. They will remember later. It gives you the opportunity to do what you want.

Gemini 21 May – 20 June

So quiet, so peaceful; so invisible! It will not be until near the end of the month that life gets a kick start again. What can you do to gain benefits from this time of solitude (even whilst in a crowd)? I would find a sacred place, or perhaps learn to relax – and you must admit – you could do with some relaxation. Friends are starting a new chapter in their life. What can this teach you?

Cancer 21 June – 22 July

Your community zone is activated so gather with your friends and colleagues enjoy their company, talk to them, share news and stories and ideas. They will help you and support you and be an absolute font of wisdom. Not all of their advice or opinions are useful. Some may be silly. But it’s the thinking about those ideas that will help you have a different perspective and help make up your own mind.

Leo 23 July – 22 Aug

The planets are lining up to enter you work zone so your focus is on your job, which can be paid or unpaid, and in some cases; both.  There are opportunities offered to you, and then just as quickly they will disappear. It may feel like it’s spinning your head but hang in there, the good will come after a journey, or something new to learn, when the New Moon moves in to your zone of expansion.

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sep

So you want to travel? Why not? I would expect a change of plans as Mercury goes backwards in your zone of journeys. During the last 12 months you have been practicing your skills of changing plans and adapting, so it will work out just fine. Later in the month Venus brightens up your work zone and improves your visible role in the world, and relationships with authorities. So ask for a raise and smile at the policeman!

Libra 23 Sep – 22 Oct

Whilst the New Moon initiates the new relationship zone for Librans, it will be more about business than pleasure. You have shared connections and shared assets which can benefit you. But lately, has there been a reoccurring theme of bad habits causing bad luck? Perhaps you worry that the same thing will happen. And yes there will be a temporary reversal of fortune, but if you change habits; your luck will change.

Scorpio 23 Oct – 21 Nov

With Venus jumping quickly into your relationship zone, expect some love and deepening of partnerships of all descriptions, although there is a chance of misunderstandings if you don’t ask for clarification in all communications. This is an intensely bonding time, and the thrall of love will challenge staid relationships, and brighten others. You do have to pay attention to health concerns, but they may not be your own.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 21 Dec

Too much responsibility makes a Sagittarian a dull person.  And that’s what’s in the stars for you this month. There is one bright spark as the New Moon occurs in your fun zone, thus you will be beginning a new cycle of creativity or delightful fun times. But “beginning” is the operative word.  So do your duties and smile, and know that you will escape and play later in the month, especially when Venus enters your relationship zone.

Capricorn 22 Dec – 18 Jan

Who’s the party animal? With your fun and games zone activated, its time for a celebration, so invent a reason if you don’t have one. Let your hair down and dance. The artists amongst you will be filled with a creative spirit. Now is NOT the time for attending to business.  Allow yourself to take a risk; and for the serious mined Capricorn – that’s a big thing to ask!

Aquarius 19 Jan – 18 Feb

With Venus entering your home zone you may want to spend money on home improvements or on family entertaining. You will make an important new connection which gives you information. I’d like to think it will be more than just upgraded internet speed! But beware that it might not go as smoothly as you hope, and money may be wasted if you try and hurry it along.

Pisces 19 Feb – 20 March

With your zone of decisions and open communication being activated you have the “gift of the gab” and lots of short journeys happening this month.  You can convince yourself of anything and maybe convince the world as well.  The New Moon initiates energy in your money zone – save or spend – it’s up to you! And just when you thought that relationships had settled down, there is still more changes coming.

10 Ways to Solve a Problem with Palmistry April 1, 2010

Your hands will show you 10 ways to solve a problem. Each finger points the way – all you do is find which finger, or which fingers has the answer.

If the problem is one of the physical world, for example about work, about a person, about money. Then look to your dominant hand, which in most people is the right hand. If the problem is one of the inner world, for example about feelings, secrets, hurts, worries, betrayals or family stuff, then look to your passive hand, which in most people is the left hand.

Look carefully at the condition of each of your fingers in the hand you need to look at. Any finger that is cut, has red spots, has torn cuticles, or has white spots on the nails can be ruled out.

The fingers that remain healthy and vibrant will now point the way to solve the problem!

If it’s the thumb, then sheer staying power and determination will be your solution. So hold firm and stay put, or knuckle down to work. If it’s the pointer finger, Jupiter, then the best way is to take the initiative and take action on your own behalf.

If it’s the long finger, Saturn, then get advice from an authority or a knowledgeable source. If it’s the ring finger, Apollo/Sun, then the solution will a creative, somewhat surprising one. If it’s the little finger, Mercury, then talk to everybody, gather information, have a meeting, get mediation, or have a debate to find the solution.

Last month I had a problem with a deadline with the palmistry article in my last newsletter and I had absolutely no inspiration. So I looked to my hands. This was a real world problem, so the answer would be in my right hand. The ring finger stood forward as being the most vital and undamaged. Therefore I needed to get creative and surprising.

Once I realised that a creative approach would be the best, I wrote this article about solving problems with palmistry. Then the surprising part was that I simply went and had a well deserved massage instead of beating myself up. It worked perfect; and I felt good!  So look to your hands for the answer.

What’s that in the Sky in April 2010? April 1, 2010

For all you Night Owls

In the early evening you can catch a glimpse of Venus, also known as the Evening Star, as she glides down to the western horizon following the setting Sun.  If you take the time out to sit and watch her set, you will notice a small star just below her that is also moving steadily towards the horizon. Congratulate yourself, as you just found Mercury!

Testosterone packed Mars rules the night skies as he is high overhead. The old staid king, Saturn, is rising in the east and by midnight he is high overhead and he has controlled tempestuous Mars who is sinking to the west and disappearing. If you can get your hands on good binoculars or a telescope please take a look at Saturn. He is magnificent.

There is a headlong rush of Venus, then Mercury and then the Sun entering Taurus this month. Taurus knows quality and believes in value. One cannot help but think that the recent return to the night skies of Venus entering Taurus would been the reason that the male gods of Saturn and Mars have became all hot and flustered with each other! Especially with a New Moon in warrior-like Aries.

Perhaps this suggests that the actions of a powerful woman, or the emergence of a new valuable resource, cause sudden reactions which are swiftly repressed, but not totally controlled, by the governing authorities.

For all you early birds

The bright star you see rising in the east, just before the sun obscures our view, is Jupiter. He is the new king and will be a beautiful sight when he is very close to the crescent Moon on the 12th April. If you have to be up at an ungodly pre-dawn hour, then say hello to the Scorpion rearing high overhead.

1st Venus enters Taurus

3rd Mercury enters Taurus

7th Pluto moves retrograde

8th Saturn re-enters Virgo

14th New Moon in Aries at 10.28pm

18th Mercury moves retrograde

20th Sun enters Taurus

25th Venus enters Gemini

27th Saturn opposite Uranus

28th Full Moon in Scorpio at 10.18pm
