Aries 21 March – 19 April

There comes a time when secrets and taboo subjects become a burden. Are they worth the weight? You will want to share what you know, or open up discussion where others fear to go. The important people in your life need to know what you do. Be supportive as they will need some of your gung-ho enthusiasm. Your own emotions will be heightened with the Full Moon later in the month.

Taurus 20 April – 20 May

Your relationship zone is activated in a way that can break tensions and open new possibilities.  Soften harsh words and forgive yourself, and them, for past decisions.  This creates the space for new people to come into your life and for existing relationships to enter a better place of mutual understanding.  The New Moon in the zone of responsibilities suggests it’s time to start and either choose, or be given, new tasks or duties.

Gemini 21 May – 20 June

This is the perfect month to get someone to do a job for you and know that it will be done properly! Even health issues can be resolved when you ask for assistance and take their advice. After ages of being focused on the home, you are going to be restless, so its time to become creative, or start a new project. Go to new places, meet new people and allow yourself to be noticed.

Cancer 21 June – 22 July

Great news. Your fun zone is being activated so you can choose between attending a celebration, having lots of social fun, or falling in love. Why not do all of them. A baby or a child helps to open you heart so enjoy the childlike optimistic and spontaneous energy. But the real world will need attention, and by the end of the month you are forced to respond to work issues.

Leo 23 July – 22 Aug

With Venus and Mars in the home zone the urge to have your own place or to beautify your home is so strong it cannot be denied. This is not just buying something. It’s more like moving furniture around and actually renovating. Some of you will be “renovating” and questioning your inner sense of what makes you secure.  Information will come to you and there will need to be decisions made.

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sep

Knowledge is power. But not all knowledge is empowering. This month there is so much communication and networking around you that you must sort out the necessary from the distracting. Will you be inspired, become inspiring, or become a gossip? Keep links open with your brothers or sisters. As the New Moon is in your worth zone it means you start to have new ideas regarding your assets; both emotionally and financially.

Libra 23 Sep – 22 Oct

Forget about any regrets and don’t waste time thinking about mistakes. What’s done is done. Now is the time for reflection and planning for the future. You have a New Moon in your sign and therefore it is time to move ahead and not look back. Begin again. Try a new way of dealing with any problems, as you now know the old way does not work. Changing yourself is the only way to change another.

Scorpio 23 Oct – 21 Nov

Smile and the world smiles with you! Venus the goddess of love is absolutely determined to stay in your sign. Now she has bought Mars in for a visit and so now you have the Great Goddess along with Mr. Testosterone himself. What fun you can have with those two! They will not let you hide under your rock or in your deep pool. So smile; and watch the world smile back.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 21 Dec

Sacred space is important to you right now. So spend some time alone in a special place where you feel connected to the universe. It can be a church, the garden, a park or even your shed or workshop. If you are confused then it is in these places you will find your direction.  Don’t expect to be noticed by others, they seem to know you need space. It can even be an advantage to be hidden.

Capricorn 22 Dec – 18 Jan

Information will come to you which changes the way you see yourself and suddenly you realise what you can do.  It’s a great time for those who want a new job or those taking on an important role. Be aware that you may not have total support from friends or colleagues. The Full Moon later in the month will highlight any family issues and lead to an unexpected surge of emotions.

Aquarius 19 Jan – 18 Feb

Simmering resentments over work issues, or a role you no longer want to do, will surface this month. For big issues I would follow where Mercury, the god of communication goes, and seek good counsel; even legal advice. As the New Moon in is your zone of inspiration its time to think outside the box, and allow a new belief to enter your world view. This will completely change the focus of any problems.

Pisces 19 Feb – 20 March

Your escape zone is continually being activated and I bet you would love, or are planning, a holiday. Unless you do what you know you must do, and sort out the assets that you share with others; running away will not work.  Get lists or documents sorted, and have clear boundaries with “who does what”.  Delays will occur, but they will get sorted, and then go and enjoy yourself wherever you find yourself.

Peter Pan by nk title

Image via Wikipedia

Your hand will show if you are perpetually young at heart and are just like Peter Pan.

Have a look at the lines of children which are vertical lines which cross the area just below and around the little finger. If you ever read that the number of lines equals the number of children then the book is wrong!

These lines tell us about how you relate to children, and how you enjoy the spontaneous unexpected fun of life. I have seen people with many lines here and no children of their own, but they delight in a classroom full of chaotic happy kids.

Have you noticed the last two crescent Moons were laying on their backs? The old folks say that when you can hang buckets off the Moon then it will rain. Well by golly; it’s been bucketing down!

What’s that in the sky?

For all you night owls

Venus and Mars are together in the western sky.  You will only see them early evening and they will steadily disappear through the month as they get closer to the Sun.

The Scorpio will closely follow as it dives into the eastern horizon.  Turn around to the east and see Jupiter rising.

For all you early birds

Look to the west to see Jupiter setting and the Southern Cross lying in its side in the south.

“With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.” – Wayne Dyer

What’s that in the sky?

For all you night owls

In the west you will see beautiful Venus with reddish colored Mars close by. Lower in the heavens is Saturn. As Venus sets through early evening you will see the first glimpse of Jupiter rising up in the east behind you.

The Southern cross is lying on its side and will slowly turn upside down through the month.

For all you early birds

Stagger out of bed and look up to see the great magnificent light that is Jupiter. He generates no light himself, but the planets are large enough so that we can see the light reflected that they reflect from the Sun.

Let the Moon guide you

On Sep 3rd the Crescent Moon will be between the horns of the bull of Taurus.

On Sep 13 and 14 the Moon will be between the claws of Scorpio.

And on Sep 24th the Full Moon will be very close to Jupiter.

Have a great month!

Aries 21 March – 19 April

You may not think you want to; but now is the perfect time to begin an exercise program or to start a diet.  Your zone of self-discipline is being activated, and the excesses of abundant Venus and extravagant Jupiter are forgotten. So you will accept, and adapt to, increased responsibilities.  There is a sense of wanting to take action, and this can bring on strong emotions as the Full Moon rises in Aries later in the month.

Taurus 20 April – 20 May

With a New Moon in your zone of fun and games, its time to be creative, and let your hair down!  You can now be recognised and rewarded for simply being yourself.  The other good news is that Venus is entering your relationship zone bringing new people, new loves and new fun into you life. Also you will revisit a club, group or network of friends and realise that you have outgrown them.

Gemini 21 May – 20 June

There is a delicate balancing act between a New Moon in your zone of home and family and a surge of planetary energy into your zone of work.  Some of you may find that whatever is happening at work is magnified out of proportion. Others will discover ways to turn this into opportunities for advancement. But don’t forget to pay attention to the new impulses focused on your home and family.

Cancer 21 June – 22 July

You must deal with the information that you have. And you will know what to do by the middle of the month. There is planetary energy in the learning zones so its time to take a course, to expand your world, or to travel and explore.  So don’t try and sit still; get up and move. Go somewhere you have never been. Venus will help you feel relaxed and you can really enjoy yourself.

Leo 23 July – 22 Aug

With all the planets lighting up the money zones it’s a natural time to get focused on your financial situation and make plans to gain long term financial security.   By being wise you can make coins become notes, and notes multiply to hundreds. Home improvements will become important and do the necessary research before making quick decisions. Later in the month there is an opportunity to travel or to finally realise a goal.

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sep

With the New Moon in your sign this Month I know you will be grabbing hold of life with both hands and taking action, especially from the middle of the month onwards. Look forward not back, and start to be who you want to be. Jupiter comes back to bring added sparkle, even surprises, to your relationship zone and Venus aids in clear and open communication. Just allow it to happen and enjoy the ride.

Libra 23 Sep – 22 Oct

With Venus smiling upon your finances you can expect things to go your way at last. But beware; it won’t last, and in another month it will be back to hard work and dedicated action to keep things going smoothly. So don’t overspend what you don’t have. Let yourself feel good about who you are, and if you didn’t do what you should have done in June, then this is the month you get another chance.

Scorpio 23 Oct – 21 Nov

Lucky you; Venus enters your sign to bring you into a favorable time. Accept all invitations and if someone smiles at you; smile back. The goddess of love is on your side and will help you get a break from the humdrum reality of life. Dress up and go out, and you may want to spend money on yourself. Enjoy it and welcome any new goals before life gets serious again.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 21 Dec

The New Moon in your work zone brings in the beginnings of new opportunities and new ideas with your career.  So apply for a new job, or arrange it so that your role will change to something far more satisfying. The rest of you will also be able to start something new in your “unpaid” work.  There is also a burst of energy which could involve extra people in your home, renovations; or even moving house.

Capricorn 22 Dec – 18 Jan

With the New Moon bringing energy into new horizons; its time for a holiday! Such a pity if you cannot get away from the hurly-burly of life. You need something new and if you don’t experience it then extreme restlessness will be the theme for this month.  So if you have to stay where you are, I suggest that avid curiosity, and making short trips, is the positive way to use this restlessness.

Aquarius 19 Jan – 18 Feb

With new energy lighting up your financial zones there is a good chance you will be lucky with finances or receive some news that helps you get lucky. Just don’t lose a big fortune to make a small fortune. Use this energy wisely, be open to opportunities, and you will reap the rewards.  And be wary of making assumptions. Expansion is everywhere; including the waist line. So don’t even think about a diet!

Pisces 19 Feb – 20 March

Jupiter the New King and Uranus the planet of surprises unite in your sign to provide you with a surge of energy and inspiration. That can also bring in unexpected changes, so be on your toes and take nothing for granted. Be prepared to act on new opportunities. The New Moon in your relationship zone brings new people and new beginnings into your life as well as plans for a holiday.

Palmistry Puzzle with Finger Nails September 2, 2010

Nail (thumb)

Image via Wikipedia

Q. I am a very healthy person who does all the “right things”, so I am puzzled why all my finger nails have vertical ridges?

A. The nails are a window to the skin below and can show us health issues. When the window is obscured with vertical ridges that actually dents the nail then it suggests inherited health problems. They are linked to rheumatic conditions such as arthritis, or an intestinal tendency to colitis, or skin disorders.

Inherited conditions are simply a tendency for a certain health condition that is passed down to us in our genes. A good diet and doing all the “right things” in most cases will prevent this tendency from manifesting. Thus you may even have prevented these possible health problems from occurring or at the very least; minimized them.

If doing all the “right things” still results in problems, then we may as well try to change our inherited tendency for our height or eye colour, as blame ourselves for nail ridges that show inherited tendencies.

Vertical ridges that do not dent the nail are quite common and are linked to an overly acidic diet from eating more manufactured products than the body can cope with. Each of our bodies is different, and what may be acceptable for one person’s body is not acceptable for another person’s body.
