Aries 21 March – 19 April

If you thought you’d left it behind you – think again. Early in the month is the last chance to let go and clean up. Know that you have done your best, then turn to the new horizons without looking back. There is a focus of new energy into your life role or job, so have the outcome you want firmly placed in your mind. Emotions will be heightened with people you live with, or with your family.

Taurus 20 April – 20 May

The planetary energy is on decisions and knowledge, so ask yourself what are your goals, and how will you achieve them? If you know what you want; then you will know how to get there!  But if you don’t know the answers, then this important time will be wasted.  Talk to friends, and social or sporting groups, for their viewpoint, or simply to be inspired by them.

Gemini 21 May – 20 June

Your zone of career and work is being activated with the chance to take advantage of opportunities, or even a new situation.  But you may not be ready to let go of the old one just yet. Your social relationship zone is also being activated by Venus the goddess, who brings in a desire for fun and enjoyment, and perhaps she will even enhance your love life! Be aware that you will have an urge to overspend.

Cancer 21 June – 22 July

The Moons make this a very important month for you. The New Moon brings in somebody who gives you the idea on how to make changes that involve travelling or learning something new. You do need an escape and a holiday could fit the bill nicely. Then the Full Moon activates your emotional need to be recognised for who you really are and for what you have done. Do you feel that they know You?

Leo 23 July – 22 Aug

Venus enters your fun zone helping you achieve a month of celebrations, interesting people or the desire to take a risk and be daring. This can mean a whole lot of fun, or it can mean that you antagonize other people who think you should be focused elsewhere. I say if the heavens offer a relief from duties and drudgery; then grab it.  Duties will wait.

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sep

Golly, who is pressing your buttons? Someone that stirred you up in the past will have the ability to do it again. But this is the last time, for all the other planetary energy is focused on looking ahead and exciting changes are on the horizon. Say Yes to any new idea and go out of your way to talk to everybody.  Also have a look at finances which may need reorganization.

Libra 23 Sep – 22 Oct

If you have been abusing your body it will demand that you pay attention. So look after yourself a lot better than you have been.  The New moon suggests you may be distracted by new beginnings on the home front. Perhaps home improvements; or even a situation regarding your parents or older people will emerge. As the month passes, you find that time has passed too quickly for all your good intentions.

Scorpio 23 Oct – 21 Nov

Oh let the good times roll! You know that taking a risk is scary, but it can also be a whole lot of fun. It’s time to stretch yourself, but don’t go crazy. Make new decisions based on practical and proven methods, and lady luck will smile upon you. There may be feelings of tension and at the least, expect heightened emotions during the Full Moon later in the month.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 21 Dec

Venus is entering your sign and bringing an optimistic outlook and sparkle to your life. People will notice you and you will notice other people. This is attraction at its best! You can get exactly what you are thinking about, so for goodness sake; think of wonderful positive things! There is also a concentration of energy in the zones of property and family, which may involve money.  Be wary of hasty decisions.

Capricorn 22 Dec – 18 Jan

With the New Moon in Capricorn, and a focus of planets in the zone of decisions, you may feel like you are being pressed or rushed into things. Or you could be saying “Yes” too often. This is an important month for making choices, but no Capricorn likes to be hurried. So take your time and allow it to slow down; and let any heightened emotions “wash” over you.

Aquarius 19 Jan – 18 Feb

Mars enters your sign this month and brings energy and vitality to those that need it. Those who have been overdoing it will be pushed to exhaustion. Those who need to stand tall and be strong; can do it. Those that have been meek will surprise others. Which one are you? Be wary of hasty choices with finances, or your possessions, as there is a chance you can lose something valuable.

Pisces 19 Feb – 20 March

The significant happening in your life last year will be revisited this month. You make feel again the same emotional reactions or see clearly more of the consequences. Remember that this is all about you; nobody else. You are the important one.  Venus will enter your work zone and bring in recognition and a little luck. So ask for what you want. For those not working, she brings in respect.

What I am looking for is a blessing not in disguise!

Kitty O’Neil Collins

For all you night owls

Jupiter is the bright light high in the sky that settles closer and closer to the western horizon as the month goes by. The Southern Cross is low on the southern horizon (yep…that figures!), and is nearly upside down; but throughout the month it slowly rises and turns on its side.

For all you early birds

If you have been out partying for New Years Eve and going home before dawn then you will see the crescent Moon next to brilliant Venus.  The Moon will then move further away each night but Venus will remain the Morning

Star all this month. Near to her is the constellation of the Scorpion, which will become more and more visible through the month. Look overhead to see Saturn close to the bright star of Spica.

Palmistry FAQ’s – A break in the Life Line January 2, 2011

Right hand

Q. What does it mean when there is a break in the life line?

If you remember from last month, the life line runs around the fleshy part of the thumb. This month I will explain what happens if there is a complete break in the life line.

Since the life line represents vitality and the “journey” of life, a break means a significant period when one life path is over and another one begins. If it occurs in the dominant hand, it will be noticeable to everybody, and may occur in the area of relationships, health or work life. If it occurs in the passive hand, it means a crisis of inner faith, or a loss of self-esteem.

The interesting thing is that a “break” implies that the line will start again! The length of the gap will show how long the difficult time will last. Sometimes we simply need to get out of our own way, allow the old way of life to pass by and wait for life to start anew. To get off the old train tracks of life and find the new tracks. So if your life line has a break; don’t focus on the end, rather look for where, and when, it will start again. And a new life can be a whole lot more exciting and interesting that the old one. In the transition period ask yourself; how can I do it (life) the way I really want to?
