with a Partial Solar Eclipse not seen here.

All the best for 2011. Today is a rest day. Don’t even do any maintenance!

 

9th – 10th Jan Waxing Fertile 1st Quarter Perfect for all planting, especially leafy type vegetables.

 

14th – 15th Jan Waxing Fertile 2nd Quarter Perfect for all planting, especially fruity type vegetables.

 

20th Jan Full Moon In cancer This is an official gardener’s rest day, so nurture yourself.J

 

24th 25th  26th Jan Waning Fertile Moon 3rd Quarter This is the perfect time to plant root crops. 

 

AEDTTimes are correct for Vic NSA and Tas

S.A. subtract ½ hour.

QLD subtract 1 hour in summer daylight saving time

W.A subtract 2 hours or 3 hours in summer daylight savings time

N.T subtract ½ hr in winter and 1.5 hours in summer daylight savings time.

In N. Z add 2 hours
