Your Sun Sign Forecast August 2012

Aries 20 March – 19 April

Home and family are the main focus this month. Children and younger people have the potential to get back on track. Or back in contact with you. It’s an ideal time to forgive past mistakes. You don’t need to have a reason to gather the family together. Creative energies are strong. What you do want to create, or to start?

Taurus 20 April – 20 May

You want to say just the right thing. The down side is that you won’t be heard in the work place and it will play on your emotions. The good thing is that you will be heard by your family. And “being heard” will support you. Only those that know you well will understand. Later in the month you may meet overly assertive people.

Gemini 21 May – 20 June

What a wonderful month to make an important decision. And your financial situation has the potential to improve. Now thoughts are clear, so focus your eyes on the future. It had been proven that people who write down their goals will achieve success. What are your dreams or goals? If you don’t have any, then you won’t get any!

Cancer 21 June – 21 July

It’s about time that a positive change happened. Venus, the goddess of love, enters your sign. She brings the ability to help you smile with optimist spirit. And she brings a magnetic energy so people will be attracted to you.  If you are going to be noticed anyhow, then you may as well be noticed in a big way. Ask for what you want.

Leo 22 July – 22 Aug

At last you are charging ahead. Events, and strange as it seems, even technology, is working for you.  This is a perfect month to plan and execute your next step. But the special people in your life will be feeling emotional and need something you may not be able to give. They are worth giving it a red hot go, and you may surprise yourself.

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sep

At its best, this is a time of inner reflection and finding solace with your place in this universe. At its worse, this is a time of anxiety or sorrow. You will find hidden strengths if you retreat inside yourself and look for them. Yes, it’s a spiritual time, which is an ideal place to be just before your birthday.

Libra 23 Sep – 22 Oct

Lady luck is smiling on you regarding the work you do, regardless of whether you are in the paid workforce or not. Enjoy the opportunities offered. Say yes, even if you are not sure you can do it. The stars think you can! Notice chances on offer to network with like-minded people. Perhaps join an organization or club. Enjoy yourself.

Scorpio 23 Oct – 21 Nov

A busy time as there are all sorts of possibilities happening at work. What do you want to do, compared to what you do now? Go get it! But the location of the goddess Venus says it’s also a perfect time for a holiday. Therefore you need to balance busy work times with fun times. Soon you will have the energy to do it all.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 20 Dec

Feeling tired after the last couple of months? Now it’s time to rest your mind and possibly your body. Stop worrying about decisions and press your inner OFF button. Go somewhere you will not be disturbed and I bet that means get in the car and go! Disappear for a while. Or plan a beautiful escape; also known as a holiday.

Capricorn 21 Dec – 19 Jan

Hmmm. (Wink wink) Lots of new happenings with the special people in your life and this includes (nudge nudge); your love life. J Smile at them, for they want to smile back at you. Even a tired relationship can be re-juiced. This includes friendships. If you need to let go of something; you can do so with love in your heart.

Aquarius 20 Jan – 17 Feb

People want to talk to you; but do you want to talk to them? Emotions are running high and you could have a sense of awkwardness about your identity. If so relax; as people are more interested in themselves than they are with you. They just want you to listen. And you can make people feel wonderful by listening with interest.

Pisces 18 Feb – 19 March

Yes, it’s time for a party or a celebration. Creativity is in the air! This makes the demands of the hum-drum mundane world so much harder to bear! And there are extra responsibilities coming. So put all your attention on to the fun good things; and all you will notice is the fun good things! Celebrate and talk about the “wins” of life.

A lot of people do not realise that the Sun moves into the 12 signs of the zodiac on slightly different dates each year. If you are born close to the border of two signs then you are on the cusp and you are a blend of the two sun signs. The dates here are the 2012 Sun Ingress dates for Australia. News from the Stars

2nd Aug Full Moon in Aquarius

7th Aug Venus enters Cancer

8th Aug Mercury goes direct in Leo

18th Aug New Moon in Leo

23rd Aug Sun enters Virgo

24th Mars enters Scorpio

31st Full Moon in Pisces. This is the second Full Moon in one month and is known as a Blue Moon.

What’s that in the sky?

For all you night owls

Mars and Saturn are slowly moving down to the western horizon and will be gone by 10.30pm. Let the Moon be your guide when she moves close to them on the 21st and 22nd August.

The bright star close by is Spica which is the wheat in the hand of the constellation of Virgo. The Scorpion is high overhead and easy to see. Let the Moon be your guide when she is between his nippers on the 24th. Look south to see the Southern Cross lying on its side.

For all you early birds

Venus and Jupiter are still visible, but no longer close together.  Venus is the brightest one as she is so close to us. Jupiter may be the biggest but he is far away.

Let the Moon be your guide when she will be near Jupiter on the 12th August and near Venus on the 14th.

The bright star close to Jupiter is Aldebaran in eye of Taurus the Bull and if you look to the left you can see the Pleiades also known as the 7 Sisters.

The Southern Cross may be difficult to see in hilly country or those with street lights as it is nearly on the southern horizon.

Happy Birthday!!

Leo 22 July to 22 Aug

Always star in your own movie. Ken Keysey

Thank you to the gorgeous Leo who showed me that (at the very least) pride is why we get up in the morning. And at its very best, pride is how we become mentors and leaders for others.

Virgo 23 August to 22 Sep

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Eleanor Roosevelt

Collective Noun for Virgo is A Vestry of Virgos.

The aussie animal for Virgo is the Echidna who is always fascinated by very small things.

Thank you to the Virgo who show me that self-reflection and recognizing one’s own inner truth only hurts for 30 seconds, but then gives years of contentment.

God is the friend of silence. See how nature—trees, flowers, grass-grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.             Mother Teresa
