For all you early birds

Venus and Jupiter are visible in the eastern sky. Jupiter is the highest while Venus is the lowest and the brightest. Jupiter is near Aldebaran in the eye of Taurus the Bull and if you look a little to the left you will see the glitter of the Pleiades also known as the 7 sisters.

Venus will move during the month and will soon be invisible when she becomes lost in the glare of sunrise. Let the Moon be your guide when she will be next to Jupiter on the 9th Sep and next to Venus on the 13th Sep.

For all you night owls

At the beginning of the month Saturn and Mars are visible in the western sky. Let the Moon be your guide when she is next to creamy colored Saturn on the 18th Sep and next to reddish Mars on the 19th Sep. But later in the month Saturn will be moving closer and closer to the Sun. It will soon be only visible at sunset and eventually disappear into the brightness of the Sun.

The magnificent Scorpio will be visible in the evening in the west and will be moving closer and closer to the horizon almost as if he is diving head first into the land. The Southern Cross is nearly upside down low on the southern horizon and moving to its side during the month.

Happy Birthday

Virgo 23rd August – 22nd Sep

“The habit of analysis has a tendency to wear away feelings”.  (John Stuart Mills)

“The habit of emotions has a tendency to wear away the ability to analyze”.  (Kerry Galea with Sun in Virgo and Moon in Pisces!)

Libra 23rd Sep – 22nd Oct

“Charm is the way of getting the answer Yes without having asked any clear questions”. E.M Forster

The collective noun for Librans is “a scale of Librans”.

Thank you to the Libran who showed me that tact and diplomacy is mightier than the sword!

31st Aug Full Moon in Pisces

1st Sep Mercury enters Virgo

7th Sep Venus enters Leo

16th Sep New Moon in Virgo

17th Sep Mercury enters Libra

18th Sep Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn

19th Sep Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn

23rd Sep Spring Equinox when the Sun enters Libra

30th Sep Full Moon in Aries

At the equinox the Sun is directly overhead at the equator. It will rise due east and set due west.  That means that both the northern and southern hemispheres get an equal amount of night and daylight hours.

The movement of the planets herald time when we feel mood changes, times we are galvanized to take action, and others times when we lack energy. There are shifts in feelings and energy levels at all New and Full Moons, when planets move into signs, or when there are connections (aspects) between planets, or when they turn retrograde or move direct again.

Pay attention to the days when these shifts happen and notice your feelings and energy levels. This understanding will enhance your experience of life. Enjoy the ride!
